It's with great pleasure that we can announce The Antics as main support for our tour in September/October.
I've been an ongoing champion of unsigned musicians, especially since joining twitter! The thing is, it's very hard for an unsigned band to actually get a main support for a big band. Even if they do, most bands can't afford to tour the country as it's an expensive business when you start out.
This decision marks the beginning of our commitment to champion unsigned bands. At a time when some radio stations seem to have turned their back on new unsigned British music, I think bands of our size have an obligation to do as much as we can to keep fresh music coming through.
Historically Rock and Roll is one of the UK's best exports, the only way to ensure that stays the case is to keep producing new music!
As for The Antics, anybody who saw them unite Manchester Academy will be in no doubt as to the quality of show you can expect from them! I think it's the single best display of ability and passion I've seen from a support act in all our years of touring!
